Rachel Yamagata vs Mon Laferte/ is Tu Falta de Querer a new version of Worn me Down

Hello, hi whatever you like, I’m from Mexico, it’s like I’m the typical   boy love the English music, but no really, I love the same way the Spanish music and Latin American music. There so much artistic and singer with a such talent to created amazing music, but I really upset when a Spanish music or Latin American music try to copy or have the same style that other English music singer.
I don’t  know what is the reason to the singer in Latin America to try made song in the same line that singer from USA or other country’s with English language.  This sad because when a singer in USA try to made different video or different song, like example Rachel Yamagata in the video “Worn Me Dow” she travel to Mexico to record that song, and in my opinion it’s an amazing video Music with a spectacular lyrics, and the place and the people on the video and all video its perfect, yeah! Why because in the video have best of México the simple life in México, I from a little town in México and I love that I don’t like  live in the big city I think that is hard when you live in suburbs but in the same way I love the fields and all nature place have around my house.  I think the best history have in the farmers, in the forest so far from the city, when don’t exist, crazy partys and crazy things to made, only nature and simple things.

I'm so angry because when I first hear “Worn me Down” by Rachel Yamagata, and then I hear “Tu Falta de Querer” by Mon Laferte, but in the last days I have the video from worn me down and I don’t know maybe it’s just my imagination  but this song have same thing in the lyrics and video that tu falta de querer, I have  confusion  and I feel stupid but seriously, in my opinion Mon Laferte, have a big talent but I can’t stop thinking that it is a cheap copy of Rachel’s song Worn me Down, so let go a compare in two songs.

Rachel Yamagata and who is Mon Laferte.

Well I’m not a big fan from this singer, but I love some songs from Rachel and Mon, but Rachel is rock-pop singer from USA and Mon Laferte she from Chile but she live in México in last Years.

“Worn Me Down”-Rachael Yamagata VS  Mon Laferte – “Tu Falta De Querer”

This post has two amazing videos from good Singer, so Rachel in her video music in 2004 made a amazing video called “Worn me Down” include in the first album the lyrics is about a bad romance with a girl I think she is lesbian, but is not important, the feeling in this song there is obsession to other person no have feeling or love to her, practically is about cheated in her relationship. In 2015 in Mexico Mon Laferte sing a sweet and sad song called “Mi Falta de Querer” in this song is exactly the same concept in “Worn me Down” because in lyrics she speak about  break up with her boyfriend  and all feelings  and hurt  and unloved about ex-lover.

Video musicales

Worn me down like a road
I did everything you told
Worn me down to my knees
I did everything to please
But you can't stop thinking about her
No, you can't stop thinking about her/

Come And tell the truth
Be merciful And tell me why
No no noo ooo As was
I love you stopped
I could still stand
Your such a lack of love
Mon Laferte-2015

Well, practically the two videos have a similar place, similar singer and I think is the same song but in deferent language, but Rachel ,she was the first to show amazing place in México,  but Mon Laferte she no born in México she born in Chile, but she have the best idea to show amazing and modern place in México, in my personal opinion I don’t like compare this videos but when I see the video music by Yamagata I told me wooow, this is the same like music video by Mon Laferte but I have the same idea when I compare her music with Lana del Rey, I really like the two song but  I dislike that, when a singer in Latin American or Spanish singer, copy all style from other singer around the world.

              ¡the same song!

Actually the two videos has many similarities , in pose, in the lyrics of the song, and how the two singers performed two songs , but I prefer the song Worn me down, because it best conveys the feeling, though your lack of love this song comes when you really think your best is love.

Amazing videos recorded in Mexico or with places in México.

Pulp (British Band) VS Babasonicos (Argentina Band)/ is Pulp the inspiration to Babasonicos or just is a bad copy

Hi. There no much to say in this post but I like talk to about music and I think the music is like medicine to delete all hurts, sick and all bad things on a bad day, because without music how could enjoy the life?, I’m from Mexico and is hard when you hear music on the radio or TV, and the lasts year in Mexico the music has change in the right way and in bad way, the internet give so options to choose a kind a music and specially in the Hispanic and all people speak Spanish, but in the past when we hear old music about old bands and new bands, there is   similitude and things can compared, that is exactly happen with this bands, honestly the first band I hear for first time is  Babasonicos and yeah! This band I think is different from other bands in Spanish language; the lyrics have a message about the life and how live the life, and have other problems like love and drugs but when they sing and play the song they created a poem or like metaphoric song and they try leave a message in the youth but they are not so original that I think because in London there is a big band called PULP, this is a big band and is an icon of the British music, this  band have so many great hits on the radio,  so it’s impossible not love they.

Music and Bands

To cooperate these bands is important considered so many things but the mean reason is the music from these bands, so Pulp is the first band and they have so many prices in the British music, but Babasonicos have great begin in the 90s, but babasonicos have fame in the 2000s in the new millennia, when the new music has created in Argentina, this music was called new rock Argentina, they made music and play music with other famous band “soda stereo”.

babasonicos in 2013
But pulp was a famous band when babasonicos was created in Argentina, in pulp there is a Jarvis Cocker Great lyricist, with tones that both go satire cynicism through melancholy and somber notes, Cocker was leading a band basically art- pop of elegant and stylish sounds picked up influences from the new wave of the 70s, David Bowie, Roxy Music or Scott Walker.
pulp in 2000 they created a greats song.

BABASONICOS

But The thematic areas Babasónicos addresses when conceiving this album expand multiple directions: the cinematic trash culture represented by disposable film class B, gore, and the spaghetti western , classic science fiction of Philip Dick , James Ballard and Ray Bradbury , that you see in the future an exaggeration of this , plus science books . Builds on this foundation Babasónicos his vision of a future world that does not exist , but with an anchor in reality leaving a blanket of doubt: we are faced with the real or is it all a product of imagine.

Some fans see this change a "betrayal " to the beginning own group , being more experimental these, away from mainstream formulas. Jessico contains several songs of mass rotation on radio and television as " El Loco" , " hot " , " Deléctrico " and " Fizz " . In 2002 , Babasónicos embarks on a US tour . UU . And Mexico.

The Hudsucker Proxy Pulp to radiofórmulas came with its entry into Island Records, who was able to promote the best work of his discography after passing Gift, where they recorded singles between 1992 and 1993 as “O.U. ( Gone Gone ) " , " Babies " and" Razzmatazz " . " Babies " was included in the compilation " Pulpintro " (1993 ) and its fourth largest studio album , " His ' n ' Hers " (1994 ), an
LP produced by Ed Buller ( Suede , The Boo Radleys ). that reaped notorious commercial hosting, also causing the popularity of Cocker, amplified with bombastic public statements and its direct , as happened in the famous Glastonbury Festival .

The best time of Pulp is in " Different Class " (1995 ), a magnificent album that sounded guitar Mark Webber and the group agreed for the first time with producer Chris Thomas ( industry veteran who had worked with Procol Harum the Wings , Roxy Music , Badfinger , Sex Pistols ... ) who was able plausibly amalgamate their pop tendencies , dance , new wave and glam .

pulp is the best band :D
" Common People ," " Underwear" , " Sorted for E 's and Whizz " or " Disco 2000 " with riff borrowed from " Gloria " by Umberto Tozzi, are some of the top songs of an album full of excellent letters that reached him higher in the UK charts.

PULP-RAZZMATAZZ-1995.

I admited that he's so hot and great music and singer
in my personal opinion, this bands have a good sound and goods lyrics and is do hard take a decision about who is the best band and i think babasonicos can be best that pulp but the sound and jarvis are the best sorry, they have so many song about love, i admired babasonicos like music they made and make, anyways, i like pulp and their old music , its like babasonicos and pulp, try to come back 70's music.
but in this time i prefer pulp about babasonicos, i would like say these bands are amazing and they can rock .well, i can compare this bands in the way that they made video music , but there  songs from they  and this song no have a video music, so i recomed this song from this bands.

Pulp - Like a Friend (subtitulado)

Esta canción es acerca de sentirse mal por la relación con su amigo, la canción dice " como amigo puede ser amor, pero este amor será más sencillo que el amor "

Pulp - I Love Life (Subtitulos Inglés - Español)

this song is special for me and try to describe all dificult in the life, and maybe about mistake you have in your life, but in the same way speak about the deception.

Pulp - Love Love

love love, is a simple song the lyrics no say to much but , the menssage on the song is practically how can we fall in love again and all new  feelings, you dont know what happen in the future with this new love but the only thing can you do is enjoy the love

Babasonicos - Tormento

great lyrics and the menssage In This song is if you Have Problems You should fight for your dreams , and never felt scared about the problems of life, always found the best part of the bad things.

Babasonicos - Ideas

ideas, is like a song from pulp, the video remember me pulp and this song is about the love and friendly fights, and maybe this song is to say somebody you dont feel  happy with this person.

maybe is not a good option compare  this big bands, but they have so similarities in videos music and some song have the same menssage, and they have familiar sound.

finally i prefer pulp and babasonicos is better  and their song are the king in the latin- spanish music, i just my opinion. so the next time, its me :D XD.
i love life :D
