Hello, hi whatever you like, I’m from Mexico, it’s like I’m the typical boy love the English music, but no really, I love the same way the Spanish music and Latin American music. There so much artistic and singer with a such talent to created amazing music, but I really upset when a Spanish music or Latin American music try to copy or have the same style that other English music singer.
I don’t know what is the reason to the singer in Latin America to try made song in the same line that singer from USA or other country’s with English language. This sad because when a singer in USA try to made different video or different song, like example Rachel Yamagata in the video “Worn Me Dow” she travel to Mexico to record that song, and in my opinion it’s an amazing video Music with a spectacular lyrics, and the place and the people on the video and all video its perfect, yeah! Why because in the video have best of México the simple life in México, I from a little town in México and I love that I don’t like live in the big city I think that is hard when you live in suburbs but in the same way I love the fields and all nature place have around my house. I think the best history have in the farmers, in the forest so far from the city, when don’t exist, crazy partys and crazy things to made, only nature and simple things.
I'm so angry because when I first hear “Worn me Down” by Rachel Yamagata, and then I hear “Tu Falta de Querer” by Mon Laferte, but in the last days I have the video from worn me down and I don’t know maybe it’s just my imagination but this song have same thing in the lyrics and video that tu falta de querer, I have confusion and I feel stupid but seriously, in my opinion Mon Laferte, have a big talent but I can’t stop thinking that it is a cheap copy of Rachel’s song Worn me Down, so let go a compare in two songs.
Rachel Yamagata and who is
Mon Laferte.
Well I’m
not a big fan from this singer, but I love some songs from Rachel and Mon, but Rachel
is rock-pop singer from USA and Mon Laferte she from Chile but she live in México
in last Years.

“Worn Me Down”-Rachael Yamagata VS Mon Laferte – “Tu Falta De Querer”
This post
has two amazing videos from good Singer, so Rachel in her video music in 2004
made a amazing video called “Worn me
Down” include in the first album the lyrics is about a bad romance with a
girl I think she is lesbian, but is not important, the feeling in this song
there is obsession to other person no have feeling or love to her, practically
is about cheated in her relationship. In 2015 in Mexico Mon Laferte sing a
sweet and sad song called “Mi Falta de
Querer” in this song is exactly the same concept in “Worn me Down” because in lyrics she speak about break up with her boyfriend and all feelings and hurt
and unloved about ex-lover.
Video musicales
Worn me down like a road
I did everything you told
Worn me down to my knees
I did everything to please
But you can't stop thinking about her
No, you can't stop thinking about her/
I did everything you told
Worn me down to my knees
I did everything to please
But you can't stop thinking about her
No, you can't stop thinking about her/
Come And tell
the truth
Be
merciful And tell
me why
No no
noo ooo As was
I love
you stopped
I could
still stand
Your
such a lack of love
Mon Laferte-2015
Well, practically the two videos have a similar
place, similar singer and I think is the same song but in deferent language,
but Rachel ,she was the first to show amazing place in México, but Mon Laferte she no born in México she
born in Chile, but she have the best idea to show amazing and modern place in
México, in my personal opinion I don’t like compare this videos but when I see
the video music by Yamagata I told me wooow, this is the same like music video
by Mon Laferte but I have the same idea when I compare her music with Lana del
Rey, I really like the two song but I
dislike that, when a singer in Latin American or Spanish singer, copy all style
from other singer around the world.
Worn me down |
tu falta de querer |
¡the same song!
Actually the two videos has many similarities ,
in pose, in the lyrics of the song, and how the two singers performed two songs
, but I prefer the song Worn me down, because it best conveys the feeling,
though your lack of love this song comes when you really think your best is
love.
