Hello to
the world, I am writing from a faraway place in Mexico, I have
abandoned my musical blog, that is to say: I have gone through several things
in 2016 but I think things improved in 2017, well I believe that, I was dating
someone and After this person ends the point is that now I go out with a guy
who has a rock band maybe talk about his band but that will be in another blog,
this day is not special but we are hours away from dismissing another year full
of failures and victories in the end. My
inspiration to create this blog is because my new boyfriend and I have a dark
secret for people who speak Latin or Spanish understand that Belanova is an
electro-pop band that if you like other people you question your taste musical
and for my boyfriend and I that would be the worst thing that can happen to us,
although in reality they are a good band to be electro, the point is that we
discuss their style and look for some references between both bands which has
enough, and to be this true Belanova would be the electro-pop version with a
clear mexican latin wave, I'm talking about Yeah Yeah Yeahs whichis a band of indie rock and garage punk with very good songs and although belanova is not in alternative indie rock, their band can be inspired by the
New York band.
Belanova:
is a pop music group from Guadalajara, Jalisco. The group
is integrated by the vocalist Denisse Guerrero , the keyboardist Edgar Huerta and the bassist Ricardo Arreola . Belanova
was formed in 2000. They are currently considered one of the most popular bands
in Mexico and have a lot of fans in other countries in Latin America, Spain and
the United States. Belanova. It
consists of 5 studio albums, 2 live, 3 compilations, 15 official singles, 21
music videos and 2 musical tours

Yeah Yeah Yeahs 2013 |
As we can
see these bands are a perfect trio, it will be that the groups of three always
work, in any way, their music is very powerful and has managed to be in the public's interest since the 2000s , their way of composing and their specific sound. they make so different but at a certain point they are bands that marked the generations
with their sound and their writing but above all the revolutionary sound they
managed to keep as they sell ortheir own music.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs vs Belanova Mexican Version |
The
Beginnings ...
Well the
good thing almost never lasts and with this I mean that the beginnings these
bands managed to reach not only the ears but also to the head and heart, fortunately these bands had a good start and a
very good musical reception , in their
first album they showed
that they would be that kind of bands that would be on stage for a long time.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
- Turn Into
|
Belanova
- your eyes
|
The
beginning of the song catches you, that is, you want to continue listening to
that song that Too much bloody and beautiful. It seems that I died and I went to heaven, it 's so perfect, I can say it's one of the few
songs I enjoy at night, it makes me feel pretty and remember people who have
been extremely important to me ...Oh! Right tonight!
One of the most beautiful songs I've
everheard!
|
I miss the times when this song began to
sound and this band, of the few pop bands I came to respect. Belanova's best song from my point of view,
The
musical concept that they handled from the beginning marked the difference so
that they were separated from the
bands that at that moment were being created, love the concept of the video
which is very European and definitely has that Mexican touch that I love.
|
The start
of these two great bands will forever be one of the best as they were able to enter
into life many people with realistic characters and making funny sounds classic
I'm sure that will always be played in our lifetime playlist: D
Belanova Vs musical concept of Yeah Yeah Yeahs
It is not
very difficult to give a reference of both groups, good trios for that even in
that they are 😊 , inside a side Yeah Yeah Yeahs has a sober style of his music, with depressive but very
reflective letters makes us enter a kind of trance with drugs and clear
marijuana symbolically speaking, their music is another level very different
from the Belanova group with
catchy pop-rock lyrics and electro rhythm makes us enter a trance where we want
to dance and scream definitely the musical concept that both created is very
different, giving each group its own musical label, which today is very
difficult to have because there are few bands that manage to position a style
within the music industry.
Belanova
- Dance My Heart
|
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
- Date With The Night
|
A
marked style, a danceable rhythm with
a very simple lyrics made belanova become the Mexican bands of the new one in
a quality symbol away from the rock songs that dominated the music scene at
that time. The music videofeatures simple
effects and shows the band in a fantasy as described by their album. In short, a
hymn for those who lived their adolescence with this type of music:
D
|
a
more elaborate concept with faster rhythmsand
a more explicit lyrics makes this song about come out considered one of the
best creations of this band with These
guitar riffs touch me in all the right places, it's
the perfect song to remember that you are a
teenager or you were at some time, Karen's voice
is so exquisite that makes live performance is much better. The
video shows too much reality in general the best.
|
Songs of love and others not so much.
The style
of composing of both bands is completely different and this is clear with the
following songs, belanova highlights mostly funny songs with somewhat exotic video effects
but entertained with pastel pink showed a unique simplicity that led to number 1 song she had a
very good musical reception in Mexico and Latin America, in comparison yeah yeah yeahs and her subject Maps another great song that stays in memory of all those chords and
the voice of Karen in the end you get a tear after hearing like the love of her life fails you.
Belanova
- Pastel Pink
|
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
- Maps
|
A
song to remember the 2006 and I think one of the few successes that belanova
can boast because the lyrics are more mature and has a more stable sound, are
at the height of the great European bands 😊 along
with the music video.
|
This
song is for crying, to feel the pain of losing someone important and not
being able to do anything about it, the music
video is everything you get to have that feeling of emptiness that impossible
not to cry. The lyrics are
simple and bright ☹
|
Funny videos and happy songs ...
My
favorite part is that it seems law that all bands have a fun and good video
select and buy two great videos of these bands the first is very funny and
strawberry while the second is more electro -rock , I think this kind of rhythm he defines them because both songs
are great in general if I have to choose belanova I surpass Yeah yeah yeahs because the video and lyrics are more cheerful and rhythm is
everything.
Belanova
- One , Two , Three ,
GO!
|
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
- Heads Will
Roll
|
A
very catchy electronic pop a Spanish and English lyrics managed to make a
song quite passable, although something basic for belanova. The
music video is fun and entertaining, I love it and visually one of the best
that has been seen.
|
The
lyrics are very poor and essentially lack his old work as a band. Visually
superior to Belanova's show a funny and cheerful face with costumes making an original video , the
rhythm of the song is repetitive, but
it is passable.
|
Karen vs Denisse
Karen O Vs Denisse Guerrero the copy ;D |
Without a
doubt these bands would be nothing, without their sensual vocalists which has managed to attract with their voice and their body a
fandom faithful
to their music, and although both have different styles of performing it is
obvious that each one is a queen in the gender and language that dominates. On the
one hand, we have Karen with a unique voice and a very sexy style while Denisse has stood out for a singular voice within pop and with very Fashions
style throughout her career, one of the best from my point of view.
Belanova
- I wonder
|
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
- Zero
|
This
song represents Denisse in a very credibleattitude to
say that she is the leader and vocalist.
|
This
video presents Karen as a sexy woman and
walking through the streets you see a better voice is unique and the video shows
the whole band if place to doubt the best.
|
Rock vs pop
Almost in
the final rounds we are describing that belonava and Yeah Yeah Yeahs has very different styles despite being bands that have the same
alignment as a female vocalist and a guitarist and another member that
complements them, these bands will be great and will be remembered for their
songs and their particular style that characterizes them.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs -
" Despair "
|
Belanova
- Butterflies
|
A
dark and depressing alternative rock the songs of this band will pass to the
memory and the heart of all its fans.
|
Electronic
Mexican pop, definitely one of the bands that seek an essence and managed to
stay under that line.
|
Under the
same line of composition and following their own style both bands have managed
to evolve, although the sound is the same, the visual effects have changed and
the music videos are more elaborated and with a good quality with much more
focus in the band and its members.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs -
Gold Lion (E- version )
|
Belanova
- I'm Not Gonna Die
|
The
rock and Karen's voice is so heavy and approaches in the woow landscape .
|
Anyone
could say that it is a cover of
a certain band 😊 what is most
salvageable is the fantastic atmosphere.
|
But not
everything shines is gold, maybe these bands were so in their early days were a
jewel in the crown where commercial music was on the top of the radio, but
while at the time of launching their first literal singles were so simple that
it made them perfect and to show the following songs.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Cheated Hearts
|
Belanova
- Suele Pasar
|
A
long musical trajectory for this band that in the beginning managed to make
indie rock, and the homemade style video was perfect.
|
That
Mexican band that pop electro was emerging to be a legend and although they
modified their style they managed to maintain themselves.
|
Nothing
lasts forever and in the music industry everything comes to an end or they
burst or die, but these bands have given too much in musical matters,
throughout their musical career they have embodied different concepts, and as
we observed in the beginning, simplicity was what yours now a few years later
they surprise us.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Skeletons
|
Belanova
- Nada De Más
|
So
dark and sinister to a certain extent it is a musical drug that makes you be
in a trance of harmony.
|
So
strawberry and rose, that is, the effects are so consistent with the song and
concept of the video to the simple would not have gone with the song.
|
smashing hits
to finish
this musical post I want to reaffirm that the music is different and expands
throughout the world, that is, Yeah Yeah Yeahs has a similar concept to the Mexican band Belanova but I think that at some point they can never
be part of something like it, the simple reason would be that gender and style
so particular. If you have read everything, I made a count with the similarities
and differences, but these bands have a particular stamp that led them to success.
Belanova
- Por Ti
|
Yeah Yeah Yeahs -
Y Control
|
A
simple song with great pop-electric sound and with an exquisite promotional
video.
|
Still one of the best songs I've ever I heard ...Makes me feel juiced .
|
Belanova
vs. Yeah Yeah Yeahs was one of the coolest versus created because they always gave me
the suspicion that if there were a Latin version they would be, Belanova who occupy that place, although in matters of style and sound are
different. This is the last post of 2017 , I was absent because I did not have a computer, but I hope you
trust that I will upload more post and I hope to earn your 1+ on Google . I wish you a wonderful closing of the year and an old night with
