ello new people, friends and people who read my blog, I am happy to do this post and more because it is a song that has a rebellious and rock meaning, I think that kind of songs represent very well all those emotions that make us connect with others People who share our musical tastes, "It's My Life" is a great song that has a simple and unique lyrics the choirs and the meaning of their verse, God is as if they were the right words that everyone in our life ever wanted to say Some people who got in our lives and that in one way or another has made us angry or annoyed with their attitude, and the song has an air of superiority which makes it more powerful.

IT'S MY LIFE (ORIGINAL) FROM TALK-TALK 1984

The first version of this song was made by a band "TALK TALK", this song was written by Mark Hollis and Tim Friese. The song was included in their second studio album had a big impact in England, Germany and New Zealand, France and Italy.

This version is a bit of a combination of bands of yesteryear like Pink Floyd and Depeche Mode as well as Joy Division. This version of "It's My Life" sounds like a combination of all the bands mentioned above and personally I can say that it is a version of fire and creates an explosion that reminds us of the bands mentioned above, the distorted sounds and The guitar is very good in this version, and the instrumental sound throughout the song result in a master piece. The song contains an ups and downs of tone that is going calm and suddenly it is heard with great intensity, with this version is the best that I have heard and that more represents although there will always be a better version than this I choose as the best This version.

No Doubt - It's My Life (Gwen Stefani Version)

The most famous version and I think everyone knows this song thanks to the fact that Miss Gwen Stefani recorded it with her rock-pop band in 2003. This version does not displease me at all, I think this version does much justice to the original song made by Talk Talk, but I think this version makes me miss the vocal range that has the vocalist in the first version.

Gwen Stefani has a very strong and clear privileged voice, besides that the sexy and narcissistic way in the sings transmits us a nervous attack, with a calm voice for moments and as the song advances we can hear that desperation that she feels for singing this is My life, actually although moments we can notice the voice of Gwen stefani sounds like cheesy and silly but it is actually a more pop and commercial version. But in truth this version has a style of its own which makes it even better as if it were not a cover.

I finally love the two versions but to be honest I think Gwen Stefani's version sounds a bit weird but I like it both versions of Talk Talk and are certainly good. I think No Doubt did justice because they did not make song / music change at all and it is certainly a talented band. However I have to give it to Talk Talk. I am with everything for the original version. I could listen to any of the versions and be satisfied.

Since I listened to No Doubt's version in the first place, I think I like it more. Mark Hollis has a great voice, but his deep voice is not really appropriate for the whining tone of this song. Gwen Stefani is naturally kind of crying, making it a good choice for her.
